One more shot, including the bridge this time. The Yama in Yamashina, if you hadn't guessed, is the Japanese for mountain. Bit further along the outskirts of Kyoto, but quite pretty

Wider shot of the weeping cherry tree. I love the tree stilts, as I've termed them. I'm sure there's a more proper and polite word that I have been too lazy to learn.

One of the bigger temples in Yamashina. Behind me is a weeping cherry tree. I headed down with a few friends to enjoy the lovely weather. :)
